Edge data centre provider AtlasEdge has re-launched its Leeds-based data centre to the market following extensive renovations.
Acquired in 2022 as Leeds' largest purpose-built data centre, AtlasEdge has invested over £13m in upgrades to elevate the facility to the city's first Tier III standard.
CEO Giuliano Di Vitantonio said: “This is yet another example of us taking a site with existing connectivity, and leveraging our combined expertise to deliver a new facility which will act as an important regional aggregation hub and support the next wave of growth in digital infrastructure for the surrounding area.”
In November 2021, AtlasEdge expanded its network by acquiring twelve Colt Data Centre Services (DCS) data centres, and has since opened a new facility in Hamburg, Germany, and acquired another in Vienna, Austria.
