Global edge-to-cloud company Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has acquired Morpheus Data to enhance its HPE GreenLake cloud offering.
This acquisition enables HPE GreenLake customers to manage workloads across private and public clouds, making HPE the first vendor with a full suite of hybrid cloud capabilities.
Morpheus' technology will also enhance HPE's FinOps tools for optimising cloud spending.
Fidelma Russo (pictured), Executive VP and GM, hybrid cloud and CTO at HPE, said: “With the acquisition of Morpheus Data, we will take the next major leap to make HPE GreenLake cloud the de facto platform for innovating across hybrid IT.”
The deal is expected to close early in HPE’s fourth quarter of 2024.
