Westcoast partners with Closing The Loop to boost e-waste recycling

UK distributor Westcoast has partnered with Dutch social enterprise Closing The Loop to promote sustainable e-waste recycling. 

Through this collaboration, Westcoast partners can opt into the ‘One to One’ service when purchasing new devices. 

For every new phone, tablet, or laptop bought, an equivalent amount of e-waste is responsibly recycled, preventing it from ending up in landfills. 

The service also collects and recycles scrap phones from countries without formal recycling infrastructure.

Westcoast said: “This gives them [partners and their customers] cost-effective ways to work towards sustainable goals, with easy-to-report results.”
