BullGuard targets bigger partners

Aims to encourage those actively selling, it says

Specialist in antivirus and mobile security solutions BullGuard has launched its new Advantage+ channel partner programme which upgrades the existing BullGuard Advantage scheme by adding more business benefits and providing new margin opportunities.

The new scheme will target a selected group of resellers who have over 500 new customer licence activations per year and, as such, it will be available by “invitation only”, the company says. In return, the new partners will be granted VIP access to revenue share and other tools which include a 5% increased revenue share, dedicated training, regular sales account visits, consultation on product beta testing, partner events and joint marketing campaigns.

According to BullGuard, almost 85% of customers on average sign up for renewals for the life of the product so this creates an opportunity for the new channel partners actively selling BullGuard to grab their share, as under the new programme revenue share is based on renewals, it says.

The revamped programme will also provide partners with the market insight, tools and support such as quarterly newsletters delivering specific industry news, assistance in connecting with prospective business partners through a social media network, marketing support and reseller resource kit with advice on consumer education, among others. Through a BullGuard Reseller Lounge, the resellers will have direct access to the BullGuard Sales team and a tool to track progress and revenue share. It will also offer the summary of payments and will serve as a tool for partners to claim respective revenue share.

According to the company, the resellers are eligible to become a BullGuard Advantage partner after 10 licence purchases. “I’m delighted with the enhancements that have been made to our existing Advantage scheme, which now allows us to offer even greater rewards to our loyal partners. We’ve always valued the vital role they play in our success and are pleased that we can continue a positive return which can have a significant impact on their business,” says BullGuard’s CEO Nedko Ivanov.
