Rapid signing of more cybersecurity vendors by fast-growing distributor
A day or so after signing Hexis Cyber Solutions, distributor Exclusive Networks has added Proofpoint, another cybersecurity company, in a UK deal. Exclusive Networks UK will market, sell, and support Proofpoint’s entire portfolio of security and compliance solutions.
“We continue to see an increasing appetite for innovative, effective cybersecurity solutions as we expand across Europe,” said Gary Rider, vice president of EMEA Sales for Proofpoint. “Getting closer to the cybersecurity reseller community is imperative to our business, and the Exclusive Networks UK distribution agreement is key to achieving that goal in the UK.”
The Exclusive Networks UK distribution agreement marks a Proofpoint EMEA transition from a mixed channel model to a two-tier, value-added distribution strategy. The objective is to capitalise on the growth opportunities presented by an expanded Proofpoint cybersecurity product portfolio, now incorporating SMB-aligned solutions, as well as leading targeted attack protection offerings.
