Infotheek Group has appointed Leon Timmermans (pictured) as the new Managing Director for Flex IT Distribution. He will lead Flex IT’s new ambitious direction for its circular distribution business under the brand name Flex IT. Stephan Derksen will step down as Managing Director of Flex IT Distribution.
“Leon Timmermans has joined Infotheek Group in December 2018 as the Director of Flex IT’s rent and demo business. Since then he has shown impressive growth on this part of our circular business. By implementing structure and showing execution power he has shown the leadership we need to lead our ambitious circular strategy plan” says Lars Pettersson, Chairman of the Board of Infotheek Group.
“I am thrilled to take over the leadership of the entire Flex IT Division and start to execute the strategic direction we have defined. Together we will continue to lead the transition to the circular economy for IT hardware and make it easy for our customers to enjoy the benefits of circular IT”, says Leon Timmermans in a comment.
“A number of years ago we started to transform the company and we managed to position ourselves as a leading European distributor of circular IT products and IT rental. In my opinion, this stage of work has been largely completed and this is the right time to pass the baton," says Stephan Derksen.
