Netherlands-based cloud services distributor Resello has just opened a new office in Germany to look after partners in the DACH region.
The company serves MSPs, VARs, systems integrators, ISVs and web hosting companies across Europe. It provides the channel with technology from vendors including Microsoft, Acronis and Vade Secure, among others.
The new office in Eschborn, near Frankfurt will house cloud sales and support teams looking after partners in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
“With a growing market for cloud services, especially in the SME sector, the DACH region is of strategic importance for us as a distributor”, said Resello. “With the opening of our office in Eschborn, we are expanding our presence in the DACH region and can now support our German-speaking partners even better.”
In connection with the opening, the company has also hired Géraldine Fricke as cloud sales manager for its growing German-based team. Fricke previously worked at brainymotion, Resello's Microsoft learning partner for the DACH region. She has more than 20 years of experience in sales and account management.
At the beginning of this year, Resello opened up its Azure Marketplace offering to cloud service providers. The Microsoft CSP Indirect Provider began making its large portfolio of Azure Marketplace SaaS solutions available via its automated platform.
By adding thousands of open source and enterprise SaaS solutions from third-party ISVs to the portfolio of Microsoft CSP solutions already available to its partners, Resello said it was making it easier for its partners to sell, deploy and bundle Azure usage with Azure-optimised ISV software.
Microsoft made its Azure Marketplace available for distribution through the CSP channel in March 2019.
