Technology services firm Arrow Business Communications has acquired Glasgow, Scotland-based cloud services provider Click Networks, its second acquisition of the year.
Following a recent investment in Arrow by MML, Arrow says it is “rapidly evolving” its offering to the market.
Established in 2005, Click Networks' services include IT consultancy, cloud services, security analysis, hosted telephony and connectivity. It supports over 150 businesses and is a Microsoft Gold Partner.
Arrow said Click's in-house help desk and field engineer teams will expand its existing IT team and enable it to provide broader consultancy, support and services across England and Scotland.
Mark Mahaffy, managing director of Click Networks, said: “We believe that by being part of the Arrow family will allow us to enhance our existing capabilities and further support our clients across the UK.”
CEO of Arrow Richard Burke said: “It’s great to complete our second acquisition in recent months and further bolster our capability and Microsoft offering in particular. Click Networks is an ideal fit as it provides flexible and bespoke IT support solutions. We look forward to welcoming the Click Networks team to Arrow.”
The value of the latest acquisition has not been disclosed. In July this year, Arrow acquired Leeds, West Yorkshire-based Altinet, an international provider of IT security and storage services. Last year, Arrow opened a new flagship office in Glasgow for three previously acquired Scottish businesses, to better support customers and partners. Surrey, England-headquartered Arrow specialises in telephony, data, IT and energy solutions for businesses. It has seven offices, annual sales of over £49m and 245 staff.
