UK-based Glu Group has become the first channel partner to qualify for its Cisco Learning Partner and Cisco Advanced Customer Specialisation. Cisco’s Advanced Customer Experience Specialisation trains partners to work closely with customers to ensure that the 'desired business outcomes' are delivered and that the partner is not just being reactive to customers’ needs.
“Channel partners have traditionally focused on fulfilling short-term technological needs,” said co-founder of Glu Group, Billy Haining.
“The complexity of IT means that this approach frequently fails to deliver the long-term value customers want and this is where we at Glu can support them. We are a channel only business that engages with partners to build better customer experiences,” he added.
Glu Group is also the only non-reselling Cisco partner outside the US, to renew its Customer Experience Specialisation Partner status. It did so by using its own in-house partner experience platform, Horizon.
“Renewing our Cisco Advanced Customer Experience Specialisation is a huge achievement for Glu and our team,” explained Haining.
“We are proud to have been the first Cisco Learning Partner to achieve this globally and to have done this using our Horizon software makes this extra special. This ensures the best possible experience for partners who work with us throughout the entire lifecycle, for them and their customers.”
