Digital Wholesale Solutions’ (DWC) recruitment drive has continued at pace, with the appointment of Andy Boland at chief financial officer. The hiring of Boland, former CFO with the Automobile Association (AA) and Addison Lee Group CEO until last year, follows the appointment of ex- Sage CEO, Paul Walker and former Deloitte senior audit partner, Damian Sanders as independent non-executive directors in the last month.
“I’m thrilled to welcome Andy to the DWS team. We are an energetic, high growth, innovative company operating in a dynamic market, and I know that Andy will fit in quickly and have an immediate impact,” said Terry O’Brien, CEO, DWS.
“His vast experience working in both private equity and public market backed businesses will be invaluable to us as we embark on the next exciting chapter of our story,” he added.
The spate of recent hiring underpins DWS’ aggressive growth strategy. The firm de-merged from the Daisy Group in the last year, and announced a strategy partnership with private equity firm, Inflexion in March.
‘‘DWS has an incredible opportunity ahead,” said Boland.
“It has a compelling proposition, occupying a strategic, differentiated position in a market undergoing significant disruption and with a real focus on its partners, people and culture. I am really looking forward to getting to work and being part of a big UK success story,” he added.
