The European division of Kin + Carta has earned B Corporation certification, which shows that the business is dedicated to promoting business as a force for good.
Kin + Carta Europe joins nearly 4,000 B Corps across 150 different industries and 74 countries to achieve B Corp certification.
“Kin + Carta’s mission is to make the world work better for everyone,” said David Tuck (pictured), group chief executive at Kin + Carta Europe. “That ethos goes beyond what we’re doing for clients. It runs through every facet of our business, meaning we’re committed to making the world a better place right now and for future generations. We started this journey in 2019 and becoming a certified B Corp in Europe proves that we have what it takes to make that change. But this is only the beginning.”
The B Corp community works towards reduced inequality, lower levels of poverty, a healthier environment, stronger communities and the goal of creating more high-quality jobs with purpose and dignity. The movement is built on a model that redefines success in business to include impact across all stakeholders, including employees, customers, society and the environment, it says.
“We operate on a triple bottom line of people, planet and profit,” Tuck adds. “Ticking all those boxes isn’t something any business can achieve overnight. For us, it means a very clear ambition and a huge amount of hard work from many people. We’re a successful growing business whose shares have quadrupled in the last year alone. We offer rewarding careers to those who share our vision, and we’re a force for good when it comes to the environment, our communities and the planet. B Corp is a great framework to measure a company’s progress towards the accomplishment of that vision.”
In addition to its recent B Corp certification, Kin + Carta’s other long-term goals include becoming a carbon-neutral and zero-waste business.
