American online retailer of computer hardware and software Newegg has announced an expansion of its global seller programme to include Germany and other European countries.
The new scheme will also offer an access for international vendors to its North American customer base, it says. The new members will be offered a choice whether they prefer to ship goods to customers directly from their warehouses or they can use ‘Shipped by Newegg’ service which manages third-party order fulfilment.
Newegg is offering to German and other European sellers joining the Global Sellers programme ‘First from Europe’ a platform for European vendors through which they can sell to Newegg’s customers in North America.
Vendors from the UK, Denmark, Netherlands, Italy and France are already participating in the programme, it says.
On top of that, the company has expanded its International Programme which serves the European market with 100 companies now having a chance to sell their products on Newegg’s international sites, it says.
“Bringing the Newegg experience to customers all over the world is of paramount importance to us. We are known for our wide product selection and great customer service in North America and we are working hard to deliver those things on a global scale. Changes will take place steadily and we encourage people to visit and continue providing feedback as we continue to cement our international presence,” says Soren Mills, Chief Marketing Officer of Newegg North America.
