French IT consulting firm Atos has selected AWS as its preferred enterprise cloud partner to accelerate clients’ workload migrations to the cloud and achieve digital transformation.
The extended partnership gives AWS access to 800-plus managed infrastructure services customers worldwide and leads to the training of 20,000 employees on AWS technology at Atos.
For Nourdine Bihmane, Co-CEO in charge of the Tech Foundations Business line at Atos, the collaboration represents another “significant step” in Atos’ transformation.
Bihmane said: “We are offering our customers the opportunity to accelerate their migration to AWS’s cloud infrastructure while supporting them in their digital transformation journey.”
Ruba Borno, VP of Worldwide Channels and Alliances, AWS, added: “Through our collaboration, Atos customers will be able to realise the benefits of moving to the cloud, including reduced operating costs and carbon emissions, as well as increased business value and accelerated digital innovation.”
