Forescout now has a new CEO after tapping tech industry veteran Barry Mainz to take over from Wael Mohamed, who is stepping down after a two-year stint in the top role.
Mainz brings 25-plus years of experience in executive leadership across several companies including MobileIron, Wind River Systems, Mercury Interactive, Makara, and Sun Microsystems.
As CEO, Mainz will be responsible for executing Forescout’s strategy and driving the next phase of its development.
Greg Clark, Chairman of the Board, Forescout and former CEO of cybersecurity companies BlueCoat and Symantec, said: “Barry has been working with Wael, our Board and myself for the last several months as we prepared to execute our next stage of growth.
“His experience across scaled and innovative companies makes him an ideal leader to take the company to the next level.”
Clark added: “Working together with Greg and our Board over the past few months gives me high confidence that we have the right strategy and will deliver immense value to our customers.”
