HPE has extended its security edge-to-cloud capabilities following the acquisition of Axis Security.
By incorporating the Axis’ SSE platform into its Greenlake edge-to-cloud solution, HPE will deliver a unified SASE solution to its customers.
Phil Mottram, EVP and GM, HPE Aruba Networking, said: “The convergence of Aruba and Axis Security solutions will transform edge-to-cloud connectivity with a comprehensive SASE solution.”
Dor Knafo, CEO of Axis Security, described the firm’s SSE platform as 'a natural complement to Aruba’s SD-WAN, network firewall and dynamic segmentation offerings'.
The acquisition is set to be finalised by Q2 2023 of HPE’s financial year.
