Distributor DataSolutions Group has increased group revenues by 29% for the year ended March 2023, reaching £109m.
Cyber security division revenues for the UK and Ireland headquartered firm grew 36%, driven by zero trust cloud security, secure hybrid working and MSSP business.
Across its cloud division, group revenues grew by 26%, with “marquee vendor” Citrix playing a significant part in the business growth, said the firm.
“The last year has been challenging for the entire IT industry, so to be in a strong position is testament to our team,” said Michael O’Hara, managing director of DataSolutions. “This time last year, we decided to double down on our cyber security and cloud divisions, and that has really paid off in the UK [where growth was higher than in Ireland].”
As a private company, the firm chooses not to publicly release any profit figures.
In the last 12-months, DataSolutions says it has recruited more women to the business, and the female contingent now makes up 41% of the workforce, with an aim to grow this to 50%.
