Cegeka is set to acquire Computer Task Group (CTG) for approximately $170m, expanding its reach in North America and Europe.
The merger is expected to push Cegeka's 2024 revenue to €1.4bn ($1.5bn) and increase its workforce to over 9,000 across 18 countries.
Cegeka's CEO, Stijn Bijnens, views the deal as a strategic growth move.
He said: "This merger is a logical next step in the continuous growth journey of Cegeka. In CTG, we find a partner that complements our customer and service portfolio and strengthens our capabilities and knowledge,"
Filip Gydé, CTG President and CEO added: “We are confident that joining with Cegeka is in the best interest of our employees, will continue to drive the high-value services and solutions our customers have come to expect, and will deliver immediate value to our shareholders.”
Following the merger, CTG will go private and its shares will be removed from public listings.
