Data and AI company Databricks has extended the capabilities of its Lakehouse architecture with the launch of Partner Connect, a solution for enterprise customers.
The new Partner Connect offering, which is available now at no extra cost, is a one-stop portal where customers can discover a set of validated data, analytics and AI tools and integrate them directly across multiple cloud providers.
“With Partner Connect, we’re able to open up the Databricks Lakehouse Platform to partners in new ways that will make it much easier for us to collectively serve customers better,” said Ali Ghodsi (pictured), CEO, and co-founder of Databricks. “Partners will be able to directly reach Databricks customers with their solutions at the moment, and our sales and marketing teams will be able to collaborate closely to solve customer challenges.”
Databricks said partners can now deliver native product integrations and build future data, analytics and AI solutions on the Lakehouse platform. And Partner Connect automatically configures resources such as clusters, tokens and connection files for customers to connect with data ingestion, prep and transformation, and BI and ML tools.
At present, the solution provides integration with Fivetran, Labelbox, Microsoft Power BI, Prophecy, Rivery, and Tableau, with software from Airbyte, Blitzz, Dbt Labs and others set to join the portal in the next few months.

The launch of Partner Connect follows Databricks’ recent valuation of $38bn (£28bn) after their $1.5bn (£1.1bn) funding round, and the acquisition of German start-up 8080 Labs earlier this year.
