Paris-based digital services provider Econocom has unveiled a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) digital media outlet, a move that highlights the ‘growing importance of non-financial indicators’.
The 'Impact' hub is a key component of the 'One Econocom' initiative, a growth plan that places impact central to the company’s vision.
The platform offers a mix of infographics, podcasts, videos, and articles, fostering a space for sharing experiences and engaging in discussions on CSR matters.
The company boasts notable achievements in its CSR efforts including a Gender Equality Index score of 94/100 in France and an EcoVadis gold medal rating of 70/100.
Econocom has significantly reduced its IT energy consumption by more than three times since 2017 and refurbished 493,000 digital devices in 2023, extending their lifespan by three to four years on average.
Jean-Louis Bouchard, Chairman and MD of the Econocom group, said: “Our impact is not just measured in revenue or market shares, but also in positive contributions to society, the environment and the lives of all our employees.
"So I’m especially pleased about the launch of our site Impact as a leading witness of our responsible commitments."
