comforte, a specialist in data protection technologies that provide GDPR and PCI compliance is using Distology to reach EMEA partners addressing the payment industry.

As evidence of their expertise, comforte says it has been adopted by one of the world’s largest Payment Service Providers in order to protect sensitive data associated with billions of cards and therefore achieve compliance with data privacy standards and regulations like PCI DSS and GDPR.

The company handles the personal data associated with billions of credit and debit cards and processes tens of thousands of transaction messages per second. This vast, high-speed network facilitates electronic funds transfers from nearly 50 million merchant locations, over a million ATMs and more than 15,000 financial clients.

Michael Deissner, Chief Executive Officer for comforte was delighted to reveal the news of the partnership: “We are thrilled to be part of Distology’s best-of-breed cybersecurity vendor portfolio, and we are proud to be included in the ecosystem of cybersecurity experts & solution providers that Distology has created in EMEA. Recent times have shown over and over again, how crucial data security is in a world that is seeing digital acceleration with unprecedented speed. Therefore, our mission to help organizations protect the data they have been entrusted with, has never been more important.”

Stephen Rowlands, Sales Director for Distology commented: “The solution that comforte have created solves a problem that is only becoming more imperative as businesses move their data and assets to the cloud. Payment processes for instance have undergone a complete transformation in the past 10 years. We’re now making a record number of transactions online – in both our business and personal lives, so I’m particularly impressed by comforte’s tokenisation product which will help to keep payment information safe and secure in addition to any private customer data.”

comforte aims to help organisations to address regulatory business and industry concerns such as CCPA, GDPR, LGPD, PCI DSS, HIPAA, and internal data security mandates.
