UK managed services provider FourNet has signed a reseller agreement for Avaya Cloud Office by RingCentral.
As an accredited government supplier to Crown Commercial Service and Digital Marketplace G-Cloud, the agreement enables FourNet to deliver the Avaya OneCloud UCaaS Platform to central and local government departments and other UK public sector businesses.
“As a government approved supplier, it’s important that we pick our technology partners carefully. We choose to partner with Avaya because they help us provide multi-cloud solutions for organisations wanting to undergo digital transformation,” said Ben Ryland (pictured), head of public sector, FourNet.
“When the public sector goes for this kind of change, it’s a long-term journey and commitment so it’s vital to have a solid partner with which to deliver technology solutions for today and into the future,” Ryland added.
According to Steve Joyner, managing director, UK&I, Avaya, COVID-19 has fundamentally changed the way people in the private sector work and putting cloud-based communications infrastructure technology at the forefront of organisation’s has never been so important.
“With the right technology, particularly video conferencing, file sharing and collaboration, people feel more connected and productive wherever they are working, and we are delighted to be the UCaaS provider that is part of FourNet’s public sector offering,” he added.
