HPE wants fast-growing Greenlake to help partner revenue

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has changed the HPE Partner Ready Program to help increase partners' revenue from Greenlake services. The updates are designed to help optimise engagement and growth from HPE GreenLake, the edge-to-cloud, as-a-service data processing and management offering from HPE.

There are extra partner tools, enhanced enablement and certification and “accellerated rewards” as part of the upgrade, said HPE.

Paul Hunter, HPE global channel chief, said: “HPE and our partners are seizing on the unique opportunity to deliver transformative as-a-service solutions to customers worldwide. The HPE partner community has become a powerful force in driving the terrific growth of HPE GreenLake, and our updated Partner Ready programme is designed to provide them with an unmatched combination of sales and field enablement and financial incentives and rewards.”

GreenLake is one of the fastest growing businesses in HPE, with over 740 customers worldwide, said the vendor.

It first enabled partners to sell HPE GreenLake three years ago and the channel business ecosystem currently consists of 500 partners. HPE is now adding sales resources and specialists dedicated to pursuing new HPE GreenLake opportunities with channel partners. “This will significantly increase the accessible support from HPE sales specialists across geographies and industry verticals,” said the firm.

The HPE GreenLake Quick Quote tool has been introduced to allow partners to easily adjust workloads to meet the cost and performance needs of clients and to cut the time to generate a proposal to “just a few minutes”, it said.

And the new Master Accredited Solutions Expert (Master ASE) Hybrid IT Solution Architect certification enables IT architects to develop and validate skills in designing and deploying optimised hybrid IT infrastructures for key industry solution workloads.
