Infinigate extends partnership with Acronis

Infinigate widely extends its partnership with data protection titan

Distributor Infinigate has expanded its partnership with data protection vendor Acronis across Europe.

Infinigate will now handle Acronis in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and Switzerland, and will extend existing distribution relationships in the UK, Ireland, France, and the Middle East.

Infinigate Cloud’s 6,000-plus MSPs can now benefit from Acronis’ suite of data protection and cyber security services, managed through a single console, “making for a fast and cost-effective addition to their current range of services”, said Infinigate. The Acronis offering will be supported by a dedicated Infinigate cloud centre of excellence (CCoE) team across Europe.

“We are extending Acronis’ comprehensive offering to MSPs across Europe, increasing their potential for growth. Through the Infinigate Cloud platform, we can provide partners with a consistent and reliable experience and service across Europe and the Middle East,” said Denis Ferrand Ajchenbaum, chief growth officer at Infinigate Group and managing director of Infinigate Cloud.

Ezequiel Steiner, CEO at Acronis, added: “Expanding our partnership with Infinigate marks a significant milestone in our commitment to delivering top-tier cyber protection across Europe. With Infinigate's expertise and local reach, we are empowering more partners to protect their customers with the natively integrated cyber protection solutions Acronis is known for."

This August, it was announced that private equity firm EQT would be buying Acronis. The Acronis founders, management, and existing investors CVC, Springcoast, and BlackRock Private Equity Partners would retain “significant minority stakes”, said Acronis.
