Ingram Micro Cloud has claimed 50% year on year growth for 2019, following restructuring and expansion of the UK&I team. The UK&I part of the privately-held business has increased headcount by a third and aims to continue growth in 2020. It says it has seen partner acceleration in six key areas: Microsoft Azure/AWS, Microsoft Modern Workplace, Cyber Security, UCC, SaaS Cloud Solutions and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
The company also announced the global availability of the Go-to-Market Hub for partners and the Go-to-Builder for vendors to automate and accelerate their cloud businesses. Since its launch in May of 2019, it’s seen 300+ partners using the platform within the Cloud Marketplace, with 550+ campaign tactics created. With many VARs and MSPs struggling to reach their target customers to generate and convert opportunities, the Go-to-Market Hub provides a single destination for through-channel marketing automation, with sales enablement content and tools across the Ingram Micro Cloud portfolio of cloud products.
Ingram Micro Cloud expanded its partnership with AWS to the UK&I market. With the global Cloud market seeing growth of 17% in the IaaS market for 2020 alone, the addition to the cloud portfolio brings expertise, transformation and an enhanced partner experience, it says.
The launch of Life Cycle Services for IaaS and attaining Azure Expert MSP status has helped partners enable opportunities in driving larger workloads.
Ingram Micro Cloud also built its cybersecurity area to address channel partner and enterprise needs. It has built out its cybersecurity community, providing specialised consultancy and training solutions to partners.
Scott Murphy, Director, Cloud, Cyber, UCC, UK&I at Ingram Micro Cloud: “2019 was been a turning point for our business, with key milestones that have helped us provide real value to our partners and customers. Our development of Unified Communication & Collaboration and Cyber Security tools provides us with examples of how we’re continuing to build on this value-add for partners. Understanding that there’s an opportunity to differentiate and expand on our offerings is what we’ve been promoting over the past year. Moving into 2020, these initiatives will be the building blocks for success as we better support what the modern enterprise needs from technology. We’re excited to continue to build on the momentum of 2019, with existing and new partners.”
