Pickit, the image service that “lives inside” Office 365, has announced a global go-to-market alliance with Ingram Micro. Ingram Micro is now bundling Pickit with new Office 365 sales, enabling channel partners to sell the “add-in” to Office 365 business users.
Channel partners selling Microsoft Office 365 are well positioned to offer Pickit to their customers as a valuable add-in for creating impactful presentations in PowerPoint and Word, said the partners. The offering includes photos, clipart images and slide designs. Currently, employees of businesses that use Microsoft to produce presentations and documents have a very limited selection of assets to choose from.
Adding Pickit to Microsoft software ensures that all employees have access to a user-friendly tool, enabling them to make presentations and slides with legally-cleared, rights-compliant images. “The Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace will help us to expand our reach to tens of thousands of channel partners worldwide and show them how easy and profitable Pickit is to sell with Office 365,” said Pickit Founder and Co-CEO Mathias Björkholm.
Pickit and Ingram Micro are kicking off the relationship with a US-based campaign encouraging channel partners to sell Office 365 bundled with Pickit, Dropbox and Skykick in order to “sweeten the upgrade”.
Tim FitzGerald, vice president of cloud channel sales for North America at Ingram Micro, said: “Office 365 is a great 'in' for our channel partners who are selling cloud services. Our alliance with Pickit will grow and bring greater sales opportunities and margin potential to our channel partners selling Office 365.”
