Security vendor Nyotron has signed a global distribution agreement with Ingram Micro, which will sell the as-a-service solution through its Cloud Marketplaces.
Nyotron is headquartered in Santa Clara, US with an R&D office in Israel. The PARANOID product will allow channel partners to offer their customers stronger endpoint protection and services based on Nyotron's OS-Centric Positive Security. The technology acts as the final layer of endpoint protection against completely new, unknown malware.
"This distribution agreement will help us scale to meet the growing demand for protection from unknown malware and other advanced attacks, all while streamlining the sales cycle for channel partners," said Sagit Manor, CEO of Nyotron. "The global reach of Ingram Micro's Marketplaces, with over 45,000 partners, will enable us to reach more organisations than ever before."
Renee Bergeron, senior vice president for global cloud at Ingram Micro, said: "Nyotron's technology focuses on the damage stage of an attack, which is what channel partners are asking for and need in an endpoint security solution."
Cloud unified communications vendor 8x8 recently extended its offering to the UK and Ireland channels via Ingram Micro's cloud marketplaces there. The 8x8 contact centre and UC products were previously only available to Ingram Micro partners in the US and Canada.
