Judging has now started for the inaugural Managed Services and Hosting (MSH) awards, but with the deadline extended to the end of the week, last minute entries are still coming in.
“We had a bit of late rush, probably as people came back from holidays and realised they could still get in before the new deadline of August 31,” says John Garratt, Editor of IT Europa, who is one of the judges. “There are some great ideas in there already, but the entry requirements are not onerous, the awards are free to enter and give great publicity and rewards to the teams involved, so we expect a few more yet,” he says.
There has been particular interest in the innovation awards – both for solutions and for the most innovative MSP. “This is perhaps not surprising, given the high level of new thinking that is a feature of the sector,” he added, “I look forward to digging into the detail of these.”
The 2018 MSH Awards consist of seven broad categories, allowing both Managed Service Providers and Vendors to receive recognition for their work in the managed services sector.
