Northamber has signed two distribution agreements to expand its AV and collaboration offerings to the channel. It has taken on the Daktronics range of indoor LED video display solutions and the Mersive cloud meeting and collaboration platform.
Founded in 1968, in Brookings, South Dakota, Daktronics has customers in more than 120 countries. Peter Dosanjh, director of AV at Northamber, said: “Always with a focus on high quality, evolving products with 365 24/7 support, we are delighted to have the opportunity to distribute Daktronics' range of LED video display solutions.”
Patrick Halliwell, managing director at Daktronics UK, added: “We are partnering with Northamber to offer quality and affordable indoor high-resolution solutions to the ProAv market through their wide customer network.”
The Mersive agreement covers the Solstice Cloud offering, a software-based, cloud-enabled meeting collaboration platform that is optimised for both local and remote teams. The technology allows users to stream content from their laptops and mobile devices to the in-room display over existing IT networks.
It also enables remote participants to join via any major conferencing services and supports room audio and video to deliver a complete, flexible room solution.
Jeff Meyer, Mersive general manager for EMEA, said: “Offering our solutions through Northamber is a big step forward in our efforts to meet the demand for our products in the market. Organisations are looking for solutions that unlock better collaboration among teams. “Solstice combined with Mersive’s proprietary meeting space analytics platform empowers customers to enable, measure and optimise collaboration and productivity.”
