Multi-factor authentication provider Swivel Secure has entered into a distribution partnership with Northamber. Swivel Secure will be Northamber's exclusive partner offering multi-factor authentication as part of its wider security range.
Founded in 2001, Swivel Secure says it serves thousands of organisations in over 52 countries. The authentication platform offers a wide range of deployment options and now provides users with the opportunity to migrate to a dedicated cloud environment, in order to protect all web, VPN, VDI and cloud application gateways.
Swivel Secure’s AuthControl Sentry offers Northamber customers a “competitive solution both technically and commercially”, says the vendor. “We can collectively deepen the growth of an intelligent authentication solution to the market, which is dynamic and configurable enough to provide a seamless authentication solution for organisations,” said Adrian Jones, CEO of Swivel Secure.
Mike Etherington, marketing manager at Northamber, said: “Northamber provides Swivel Secure with a unique reach and access to the kinds of IT resellers that will help grow its customer base. As part of the Northamber Solutions portfolio, AuthControl Sentry will join a complementary set of products and solutions that our experts will promote and support.”
The platform offers a range of authentication factors including a mobile app and patented image authenticators such as TURing and PINpad, which use a one-time code extraction protocol for when additional security is required.
Customers vary from UK NHS Trusts to multinational logistics organisations, educational institutions, high street retailers and financial institutions.
