Northamber has signed a distribution agreement with Tier1 Asset for its refurbished notebooks and PCs.
Each machine that reaches the channel undergoes a procedure of full anonymisation, data erasure, a quality check and the installation of a Microsoft Windows 10 license.
They all come with a two-year standard warranty too. In the UK, Danish company Tier1 Asset trades as T1A.
Mark Foster, T1A country manager, said: “Northamber is a trusted brand in distribution, and we value the partnership as it facilitates the distribution of T1A notebooks and desktops to a large customer base, allowing users to choose a sustainable IT product.”
Last year, Northamber launched a hardware as-a-service offering to help resellers and their customers with their cash-flow and to complete more projects. It said many partner customers had found that sudden pandemic lockdown situations had caused them to spend all their Capex budgets in kitting out their workforces for remote working and collaboration.
To help address the problem for both resellers and end users, Northamber is working with Tech Subscription Services to offer its HaaS offering to support the buying of equipment and services.
