Nuvias has signed a pan-European distribution agreement with security vendor FireEye. The agreement initially covers the UK and Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France and the Netherlands, but it will eventually cover the whole of Europe.
Nuvias will help drive adoption of the FireEye product portfolio that includes the FireEye Helix Security Operations Platform, Endpoint Security and other solutions.
FireEye joins the growing Nuvias Security Practice, complementing vendors including Barracuda, Check Point, Fortinet, HID Global, Kaspersky Lab, Malwarebytes, VASCO and WatchGuard Technologies. At the end of last year, Nuvias was also appointed as the sole pan-EMEA distributor for advanced user behaviour intelligence vendor Dtex Systems.
As part of the latest security deal Nuvias will be introducing NU:RAP for FireEye, a dedicated Rapid Acceleration Programme for new and existing partners to “achieve growth and high-value returns”.
Ian Kilpatrick (pictured), Nuvias Group EVP for cyber security, said: “As the threat landscape has evolved it has become crucial to have a strong combination of technology, expertise and intelligence. With FireEye we can now cover each of these areas comprehensively.”
Jason Ellis, vice president for EMEA channels at FireEye, said: "Nuvias has a strong reputation and in-depth understanding of the EMEA security IT market. The partnership strengthens our focus on the channel and offers us a huge opportunity for incremental growth.
“Nuvias partners now have access to the full range of FireEye solutions which come with access to FireEye experts who have a great deal of valuable front-line cyber experience."
Last week, Nuvias officially opened its new EMEA headquarters located in Woking, Surrey.
