Global data centre services provider OVHcloud has bolstered its partnership with IT services company Sopra Steria to help clients accelerate their digital transformation.
Through the partnership, both firms will deploy their combined service offering in Europe, targeting organisations considered to be operators of vital importance.
As part of the collaboration, Sopra Steria will provide its Trusted Digital Platform, which is based on OVHcloud infrastructures. The platform reportedly offers clients access to IT resources and digital services such as container orchestration tools and Axway’s API management platform.
“Through our partnership and our joint offering with OVHcloud, we are a trusted driver of innovation for French and European public and private players,” said Cyril Malargé, COO at Sopra Steria Group. “This international deployment confirms our shared ambition to propose and deploy concrete approaches for our European customers.”
Michel Paulin, managing director of OVHcloud, added: “The international expansion of the joint digital services offer developed with Sopra Steria confirms our commitment to promoting and proposing solutions that comply with our principles of openness, reversibility and transparency.”
Sopra Steria said that customers in the administration, energy and health sectors are already utilising the joint offering. In the public sector, Sopra Steria is working with the French Ministry of Ecological Transition to implement a digital system for building permit applications called PLAT'AU.
For energy ecosystem stakeholders, Sopra Steria and its partners are offering a sovereign datahub solution in SaaS mode. And for healthcare ecosystem stakeholders, it has created a certified Health Data Hosting (HDS) platform.
