Redcentric Solutions seals assets of Sungard data centres

Redcentric Solutions, a subsidiary of MSP Redcentric, has finalised the purchase of the remaining assets and contracts of three data centres and other colocation and network services from Sungard.

The Harrogate-based firm said the initial consideration of £10.12m has been paid in cash for all three Sungard DCs, with further consideration payable subject to performance criteria in the 12 months following completion.

In addition, Redcentric also completed the acquisition of the entire issued share capital of 4D Data Centres, a UK-based infrastructure management provider, for a total cash consideration of £10m.
