Sustainability is the number one focus for partners, a new research study conducted by Canalys and Schneider Electric reveals.
The study disclosed that 75% of the 120 EMEA partners approached for the survey now have dedicated ESG resources, with 69% of partners stating customer ESG strategies are driving their IT investment decisions.
While the analysis confirms that regulations are a challenge for partners, over 65% of those surveyed now offer take-back and recycling services, the study found.
Rachel Brindley, Senior Director, Channels, Canalys, said: “Our report shows that partners are investing in their sustainability strategies. They are committed to reducing their own and their customers' environmental impact.”
David Terry, VP, IT Channels, Schneider Electric, Europe, added: “With a greater focus on IT Channel ESG commitments, now is the time for partners to double down on their sustainability efforts and play a vital role in reducing carbon emissions and waste.
“Energy optimisation, energy efficiency and managed power services all present key opportunities for partners to differentiate and drive market share.”
