Tech Data has appointed Annette Cunningham as vice president of sales for the UK and Ireland.
Previously field and corporate sales director, she joined the company in November 2020 having previously held a number of senior sales leadership positions supporting the channel. She has worked within the IT industry for more than 30 years.
David Watts, managing director and senior vice president for the UK and Ireland at Tech Data, said: “Since joining the company Annette has been a huge asset to our business, as an exemplary leader and mentor. She has a great record of partnership and brings a raft of channel experience to her new role.
I look forward to Annette joining our UK&I board, to contribute to and support our strategic direction, including the drive to higher value to support our partners’ growth.”
Cunningham (pictured) becomes the fourth female member of the Tech Data UK and Ireland board, joining human resources director Jodie Carrol, legal director Sonna Monfared and group marketing director Linda Patterson.
Cunningham said: “I have been given the opportunity to shape and develop the vitally important relationships between Tech Data and all its customers across the UK and Ireland. I look forward to listening to and working with them, strengthening our relationships and making sure we continue to deliver the services and support they need to move towards their business goals.”
