Identity and access management services vendor Wallix is going after more managed service partners with the appointment of Kristine Kirchner as its VP of EMEA channels.
She is taking the leadership of the 15-person channel team, which manages Euronext-listed Wallix's distribution network through its Business Partner Program. Previously responsible for business development of the firm's Trustelem IDaaS offering, Kirchner's mission is to expand the Business Partner Program throughout the EMEA region and to accelerate development in key sectors - including industry, healthcare and financial services - through partners specialising in operational technology (OT) and managed security.
Wallix says it wants to strengthen its market position in the SME identity services market. Paris-headquartered Wallix opened new offices in London and Madrid last year, and Tech Data was recently appointed as a distributor to support the German market. Last summer the partner count totalled 170 with the customer number standing at 1,100 but both figures have risen since then.
In Italy, Exclusive Networks now manages more than ten partners, and the BeNeLux region currently contains four partners.
Wallix says it has appointed 20 distributors and VARs for the Middle-East and Africa markets in the last four months.
Kirchner said: "Our Business Partner Program has the ambition to strengthen itself locally, to be as close as possible to the needs of each market, while relying on a strong global development strategy.”
Jean-Noël de Galzain, CEO of Wallix, said: “With Kristine and her team we plan to expand our partner programme to include more industrial cyber-security specialists and managed security service providers.”
For its FY2021, the vendor is targeting revenues of over €50m.
