A new Symatrix study indicates that 22% of 200 surveyed IT leaders believe the IT skills gap is leading to an annual loss of £100k for businesses.
Over the past three years, 77% of organisations report increased IT recruitment costs, with 45% seeing a surge of more than 10%. Additionally, 27% now require over two months to fill a position, an uptick from two years prior.
However, while 36% of businesses spend over £250,000 monthly managing IT in-house, a significant 90% believe shifting to a managed services approach could be cost-saving. In fact, 38% of adopters have seen yearly savings of over £100k.
