Scality targets more partners to support increased sales

Scality, the object storage software specialist, wants to recruit new partners on the back of 20% annual growth.

At the Technology Live! Paris vendor showcase event this week, which IT Europa attended, Scality CEO Jérôme Lecat (pictured) said: “We have tripled investment in our VAR network, but we still need many more partners globally.”

The channel recruitment drive is aimed at both markets where the provider has few partners, and major territories where it has a number of established ones, including France, Germany, and the UK.

The company uses distributors including Ingram Micro, TD Synnex and Arrow, and has a re-sale agreement with HPE. Its software is also integrated with data protection and disaster recovery player Veeam, with a large chunk of its sales coming through the growing Veeam channel network.

At the back end of last year, Scality extended its partnership with V-Valley, a subsidiary of the Esprinet Group, to include distribution of its storage solutions in Spain.
