Versa Networks has chosen European VAD Nuvias to bring its software-defined branch and software-defined security solution for wide area networks across EMEA.
Silicon Valley-based Versa says its SD-WAN solution enables enterprises to better manage their WAN costs while simplifying operations, enhancing network resiliency and improving application performance. The technology integrates routing and critical security functions like next-generation firewalls and unified threat management (UTM).
“Nuvias is the best partner to accelerate the adoption of SD-WAN for enterprise customers across Europe,” said Rob Mustarde, SVP-sales at Versa Networks. “Their highly skilled teams understand evolving needs of the channel and have long established relationships with world-class vendors.”
Versa’s Secure Cloud IP Platform will be available through Nuvias’ partners, who will also have the opportunity to offer Versa Titan, a cloud-managed service that simplifies the complexity associated with wide-area network transformation, enterprise IT and managed services.
The distribution deal was announced at this week's NetEvents IT Symposium in Sitges, Barcelona, attended by key industry vendors, press and analysts. Wayne Mason, Nuvias sales director for advanced networking in EMEA, said: “We pride ourselves on ensuring our channel partners have easy-to-deploy, interoperable solutions they can offer their end customers - Versa’s solutions fit in this space.
“Nuvias plans to accelerate channel adoption of this technology solution through tailored training and promotion.”
