Security solutions firm ESET has appointed David Mole as its UK channel director and has introduced a new structure to strengthen its channel team. Hejoined ESET in a channel sales role last year, before that he was head of retail sales at Kaspersky for the UK and Ireland.
ESET says it has allocated more account managers to give channel partners additional support and “in-depth training”. The changes are “designed to provide perfectly matched skills and expertise, as well as enhance customer service to partners”, said the company. ESET says it works with over 3,000 channel partners in the UK. “David Mole, as a channel lead, will enable ESET to keep pace with the differing needs of partners, offer extended support and services that are relevant and most of all unlock revenue for the channel,” the firm said.
David Mole said: “Our partners, regardless of their size, now have a dedicated contact from someone here within the team. This is a real positive for the thousands of partners that make up our community.
“The changes will mean more account managers to drive focus and get closer to our partner base, more in depth training to unlock product knowledge and awareness, a new dedicated channel marketing manager, PR and new additions to our pre-sales team. We want to enable partners to stand shoulder to shoulder with experts in their field and make their business a success.”
Following this restructure, ESET says it is “developing new initiatives” for a roll-out in Q1 2020, which will include a new partner and deal registration programme.
