Cloud data management vendor Druva has appointed Robert Brower as senior vice president of worldwide partners and alliances as it ramps up its partner programme Druva Compass.
He replaces Timm Hoyt who left Druva to take on the same role at PagerDuty. Brower will be transitioning to his new role after joining Druva in the summer of 2020 as vice president of strategic operations and chief of staff. Prior to joining Druva he worked for Tealium - a customer data platform solution - building its technical alliances programme and growing partner business. He previously spent more than 13 years at Commvault, where he held various positions including building global industry partnerships.
“Channel partners and the expertise they bring are important resources for organisations struggling to meet changing needs and accelerating digital transformation initiatives,” said Chris White, chief revenue officer at Druva.
“Our channel programme is accelerating as partners expand their cloud expertise and range of offerings, and Robert’s extensive track record and impressive relationships make him the perfect leader to help our organisation build on this momentum.”
Brower added: “I am taking on this role at a company that not only embraces channel partners as a critical part of its success, but approaches wider routes with a channel-first mindset. I’m confident we will help even more businesses thrive in the cloud era.”
In August 2020, Druva announced a global distribution partnership with Tech Data.
