Esprinet's Spanish subsidiary V-Valley Advanced Solutions has sealed a binding agreement to secure 100% of the shares of Lidera Network, a Spanish-governed company with a branch in Portugal.
Lidera specialises in the distribution of Cybersecurity software solutions - an area that Esprinet’s CEO Alessandro Cattani deems 'central' to the group’s strategy.
He said: “The specialised skills of Lidera professionals will strengthen the international team of V-Valley, responsible for the development of the Solutions business in the Esprinet Group, presenting itself as a centre of excellence in the Cybersecurity area.”
The estimated transaction cost to acquire Lidera's share capital is set at €5. 6m and is expected to be finalized in April.
Esprinet reported stagnant sales revenue of €4. 7bn in its fiscal 2022 annual results.
