International distributor Climb Channel Solutions is to offer Seagate's modular data storage systems.The distributor is headquartered in the US and has its European office in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, serving partners throughout the EMEA region.
Ken Claffey, vice president and general manager of enterprise data solutions at Seagate Technology, said: "We're working with Climb to distribute our best-in-class data storage systems to support our efforts in reducing the cost and complexity of storage infrastructure for customers.
"The Climb Team has extensive managed services capabilities, a strong understanding of customers' storage requirements and a desire to grow a business while optimising cost."
Dale Foster, CEO of Climb Channel Solutions, said: "This will be more than a significant partnership with Seagate. We have successfully helped incubate a number of storage startups that were driven by Seagate products. We view this new partnership as a key strategic pillar for Climb Channel Solutions."
Last month, Climb added Illumio's end-to-end segmentation platform to its portfolio to offer zero trust security solutions to resellers and service providers.
