CMS Distribution has increased its memory and storage portfolio with Lexar. Among other activities, CMS is currently focused on delivering a full PC components offering to the channel, aiming to become a one-stop shop. As the demand for storage increases, so does the need for performance and speed to keep up with multimedia applications. Lexar supplies SSDs in 2.5in Sata III and M.2 NVMe formats.

Last year, Ortial Technologies, a storage and networking vendor, signed a distribution deal with CMS. And this February, CMS brought the AeroCool computer components onto its distribution roster too. CMS Distribution sells to corporate resellers, managed service providers and high street and online retailers, from 12 locations in the UK, Ireland, France, the Netherlands, Sweden, Australia, China and the US. It acquired Avesta last year, a French distributor based on the outskirts of Paris.
