IT and cloud services provider Cognizant has sacked its Americas executive vice president and president Gregory Hyttenrauch (pictured) due to his “behaviour”.
In a US SEC filing, the company said: “Gregory Hyttenrauch was terminated from his position as executive vice president and president, Americas of Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation, effective immediately, due to behaviour inconsistent with company policy.”
It didn’t expand on what that alleged behaviour was, and hasn’t since the filing to the market was made earlier this week.
It only added that Surya Gummadi has been appointed to serve as interim leader of Cognizant Americas.
He has been with the company since 2000, and most recently served as senior vice president and head of the firm’s healthcare and life sciences business.
Hyttenrauch previously held senior executive roles at both Vodafone Business and Capgemini.
