Northamber has sealed a distribution agreement with Avanan for its email and collaboration security platform, which helps organisations monitor and protect their employees’ use of the cloud.
Avanan’s patented cyber-security solution is designed to catch advanced attacks that evade legacy default security tools. Installing as an API “in one click”, said Northamber, Avanan’s “invisible” multi-layer security protects the entire cloud suite, from email to collaboration to file sharing.
Alexander Phillips, Northamber commercial director, said: “Avanan is a cloud email security platform that pioneers a new approach to prevent sophisticated attacks. It stops threats before they reach the inbox and works seamlessly with customers’ existing security.

Marc Fernandez, Avanan VP of enterprise sales at the New York, US-headquartered vendor, said: “Partnering with a large independent distributor in the UK was critical to Avanan’s growth in Europe. Earlier this year, Northamber signed a distribution agreement with Vivitek for its range of visual display and presentation products, including digital projectors, collaboration solutions and digital signage devices.
