Nuvias adds Forcepoint to extend security practice

Nuvias has extended its security offering further by signing a distribution deal with Forcepoint, covering the UK and the DACH region of Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Forcepoint is aiming to get its solutions into more SMEs and enterprises via the agreement.

Forcepoint's offering includes Dynamic Data Protection, bringing together human-centric behaviour analytics and next generation DLP technology, along with Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), web/email security, and Data Guard and Network Security.

Ian Kilpatrick, EVP for cyber security at Nuvias, said: “Forcepoint’s approach of human-centric security and risk-adaptive protection is at the forefront of developments in the security industry, and will be a high growth opportunity for resellers.”

Neal Lillywhite, vice president of EMEA channel at Forcepoint, said: “Nuvias has a long-established and knowledgeable security channel, and is skilled at creating value for both vendors and channel partners to enable growth. With a large and varied reseller partner base, they will help us extend our reach.”

A month ago, Nuvias signed a pan-European distribution agreement with security vendor FireEye. That agreement initially covers the UK and Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France and the Netherlands, but it will eventually cover the whole of Europe. Along with FireEye, Forcepoint joins the growing Nuvias Security Practice, complementing vendors including Barracuda, Check Point, Fortinet, HID Global, Kaspersky Lab, Malwarebytes, VASCO and WatchGuard Technologies.
