TD Synnex company Tech Data has struck a deal with IDEE to distribute its cybersecurity SaaS solutions in Europe.
The deal allows Tech Data’s partners to gain access to IDEE’s passwordless multi-factor authentication (MFA) and authorisation solutions designed for organisations of all sizes.
Tech Data said IDEE’S AuthN offering reduces the burden on security teams and improves their cybersecurity resilience with a password and token-free authentication process that leverages cryptography and blockchain technology.
“With IDEE’s AuthN we are helping partners to prepare for this change with a scalable and easy-to-deploy solution that meets all major integration standards,” said Sam Paris, VP of security and networking, Europe, Tech Data. “It’s a compelling MFA alternative that opens up new opportunities for our partner community.”
AuthN is available as a white-label solution for partners who want to offer their own branded cybersecurity subscription-based services. It works alongside other SaaS offerings and is available with pre-configured integrations, to reduce complexity and time to market for Tech Data partners.
According to Alex Christophe, sales director at IDEE, the partnership is a critical next step in IDEE’s growth trajectory.
“Working with Tech Data enables us to reach new markets, leveraging the impressive capabilities of the global TD Synnex organisation at a time when the adoption for passwordless is rapidly ramping up,” he said. “Our agreement with Tech Data in Europe will ultimately mean more of Tech Data’s partners will be able to dramatically improve their customers’ cybersecurity resilience, reduce costs and drive user satisfaction up with best UX practices.”
IDEE’s AuthN offering is now available to Tech Data customers in the UK, Ireland, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, with Tech Data planning to distribute the solution across its entire European footprint in the next few months.
